Magazine Name Ideas:
- Legacy
This name is short, dramatic and powerful, and will stick in the mind of the reader. Additionally, the reader would subconciously associate my magazine with a good reputation, due to the connotations of the word 'legacy'. However, it doesn't directly tell the reader my magazine is a film magazine.
- Last Take
This name references film/TV lingo, and would immediately tell the reader it is a magazine about media. However, the word 'last' has negative connotations and could possibly repel readers.
- Hot Film
This name directly tells the reader it's a magazine about film, and the use of the adjective "hot" implies the magazine has the latest news. However, the name is rather cheesy and I want my magazine to appear professional, not cheesy.
Cover lines:
- "Exclusive! Lester Loat and his fight to the spotlight"
- "Sam Cooper - why I took the role in The Haze"
- "Dominic Edwards, Lester Loat and Shannon House - horror's golden trio?"
- "Pull out poster - collect them all!"
- "Win with The Haze and TT Productions!"
- "The Haze review - Dominic Edwards gives the performance of his career"
- "From script to screen - an exclusive behind the scenes pull out special"
- "Shannon House talks about how close she came to giving up on The Haze"
Final Magazine Cover:
This is my A2 Media Studies blog where I will post all of my coursework. Our focus genre this year is horror. Enjoy. :)
